37th Competition for Museum Event of the Year 2016: The Dialogue Centre Upheavals awarded SYBILLA!

The permanent exhibition of The National Museum in Szczecin – The Dialogue Centre Upheavals has been awarded SYBILLA prize at 37th Competition for Museum Event of the Year 2016 in “Historical and Archaeological exhibitions”. Dr. Szymon Piotr Kubiak has been awarded a honorary mention in “Scientific and Research Projects” category for a project of publication and exhibition entitled “Far from Moscow. Gérard Singer and the Involved Art”.

The 37th SYBILLA Competition for Museum Event of the Year 2016 ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 16th 2017 at The Royal Castle in Warsaw.

The aim of SYBILLA Museum Event of the Year Competition is selecting and promoting the best events carried out by Polish museums by choosing the most outstanding achievements in all the fields of museum activities and expressing the appreciation towards their authors.

ASP Prof. Dr. Waldemar Braniewski – art historian, The Faculty of Management of Visual Culture, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw,
Prof. Dr. Juliusz Chrościcki – art historian, professor of The University of Warsaw (Head of the Department of Modern Art History), 1995-98 the Director of Centre de Civilisation Polonaise in Paris, since 2012 professor of The Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow,
Przemysław Głowacki – art historian, museum educator, lecturer, museum exhibition reviewer, author of education projects,
D. Eng. Elżbieta Hibner – graduate from Łódź University of Technology, high officer of governmental and local administration, co-author of the Museums Development Strategy of The National Institute for Museums and Public Collections,
