The takeaway lesson from the National Museum in Szczecin - National Museum in Szczecin Poland

For many years we have takeaway museum lessons for children and youth residing in the various branches of Szczecin hospitals who, because of illness, can not participate in educational activities held in the National Museum in Szczecin. We are currently have classes at the hospital at the streets: Św. Wojciech, Arkońska, Unii Lubelskiej and Mączna.

During the meetings in the hospital we present selected exhibits and share the information about events and phenomena associated with the presented monuments. Topics of the classes may relate to the history and traditions of the region, sailing, archeology and culture of Africa. These lessons give children and young people an unique opportunity to see closely the exhibits not available to the general public. Specially prepared riddles, puzzles, crosswords, contests and interesting tasks which stimulate imagination encourage participants to talk about history and art as well as self-expression. The classes are free!
