New Website of West-Pomeranian Narrow-Gauge Railway Exhibition in Gryfice

The National Museum in Szczecin has launched a new website dedicated to West-Pomeranian Narrow-Gauge Railway open air exhibition in Gryfice. Apart from the exhibition info, the website offers articles about the history, the relics and works of engineering art of the narrow-gauge railways in West Pomerania.

The website authors, who are museum professionals, want to tell about the heritage of technology, especially in the aspect of narrow-gauge railway, to save the memory of the region's industrial history and to contribute to protection of the remaining relics of technology.

The website will be permanently developed, new articles about The National Museum in Szczecin exhibits will appear regularly, together with articles describing other technical relics of the region.

The website is full of substantive knowledge, but also visually rich – you may see artistic photographs there, by, among others, Tymoteusz Lekler, Marek Czasnojć and Piotr Dębiński. It is supplemented by photo records of field recording works done by The National Museum in Szczecin staff: Paulina Zadrąg-Osak, Tomasz Budzan and Jerzy Baranowski.
