We invite our Visitors to see a temporary exhibition "Semper Fidelis" prepared on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the revival of The 12th Podolian Uhlan Regiment. An extraordinary history of the reginment and its members has been recalled by memorabilia that have been collected for years by the Szczecin Circle of Soldiers of The 12th Podolian Uhlan Regiment. The vernissage is to take place on Tuesday, October 16th 2018, at noon in The National Museum in Szczecin - The Dialogue Centre Upheavals. The exhibition is available until November 30th 2018.

The exhibition shows the history of the legendary 12th Podolian Uhlan Regiment, which began in the times of the Duchy of Warsaw. The Regiment became famous for its participation in, among others, the battles of the November Uprising. The Szczecin Circle of Soldiers of The 12th Podolian Uhlan Regiment celebrates the hundredth anniversary of the rebirth of the regiment, which took place in February 1919, shortly after Poland regained its independence. In the following years, the legend of the unit was strengthened by its participation in the Polish-Bolshevik war, and, during the Second World War, fight for Monte Cassino – the Podolian Uhlans ascended the hill as the first ones. They also fought in the Warsaw Uprising.
