The exhibition "Genealogy 2022" was created as part of the series of exhibitions related to the project "Genealogy. Artifacts of Old Art as an Inspiration for a Young Artist ", the aim of which is to answer the question: what inspiration for a young, multimedia artist can historical exhibits shown at exhibitions be? For another time, works by students of the Academy of Art are presented during the "Night of Museums" in the exhibition spaces of the National Museum in Szczecin. The Genealogy project is a bold, but not devoid of distance and sense of humour, interference of contemporary art with priceless testimonies of history. This year's edition concerns the issue of "light" and the works of the students of the Visual Communication Studio refer to the monuments presented at the newly opened exhibition "The Mystery of Light".

The project is participated by: Sara Brzostek, Marianna Krajewska, Jana Lachowska, Joanna Miler, Marta Murawska, Natalia Rybak, Weronika Sajdak, Anastazja Stańczyk, Alicja Woland.

The GENEALOGY research project is now accompanied by a monography with essays and records of four editions of the project, co-published by the Academy of Art and the National Museum in Szczecin.
