After nearly fifty days of museums being unavailable for visitors due to coronavirus pandemic, the public is able to take advantage of seeing museum exhibitions in situ again. I am absoultely aware that it would not have been possible without great effort and devotion of museum professionals, who, in spite of museums being closed, continued to fulfill their duties exemplarily. On account of you, both collections and the museum interiors were available for public, who lively responded to the online offer. Your involvement in working for the sake of Polish culture, which played extremely important role during pandemic-related compulsory isolation of Poles, has been cannot be emphasised enough.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please accept, above all, my sincere gratitude for your effort and readiness to perform your duties at the time that has been worldwide emergency case. I cordially wish you further success in museum professionals' work, which has revealed to be full of unusual challenges.

I would like to reassure you that I will underatke all means necessary to provide possibly best conditions for the activities of Polish museums, which undoubtedly constitute one of the crucial pillars ofmodern society, aware of its identity.
