Until January 10th 2021 "Kunst ⇆ Handwerk. Zwischen Tradition, Diskurs und Technologien" exhibition is available at Kestner Gesellschaft in Hanover.
The exhibition presents the output of young artists experimenting with such materials as wood, glass, textile or straw. The works on exhibition: braided figures, fabrics and large-scale installations refer to craftwork, folk and artistic traditions.
Among the objects on exhibition there are Cameroonian beadwork pikurans from the collection of The National Museum in Szczecin, illustrating works by Olivier Guesselé-Garai.
