Marta Kurzyńska Awarded the Title of West-Pomeranian Librarian of the Year!

Marta Kurzyńska, the Manager of The Library of The National Museum in Szczecin, was honored the prestigious title of West-Pomeranian Librarian of the Year 2018 and is a candidate in the National Librarian of the Year 2018 Competition, held by The Association of Polish Librarians.

 

West-Pomeranian Librarian of the Year 2018 is the title of the 10th edition of Stanisław Badoń Competition for the Award of the Marshal of West-Pomeranian Voivodship, held  by the Board of the West Pomeranian Branch of The Association of Polish Librarians. The competition is aimed at employees of all types of libraries (public, school, academic, pedagogical and special ones) in West-Pomeranian Voivodship. Its objective is to appreciate the active and creative work full of passion and dedication to the mother library, local community and the librarian environment. The winners are selected in a secret voting of the Competition Jury. The founder of the prize is the Marshal of  West-Pomeranian Voivodship.

 

The award ceremony will be held on May 7th, 2019 at 11.00 A.M. in Zbigniew Herbert Hall in the Pomeranian Library in Szczecin during the inauguration of the 16th National Week of Libraries.
