From June 10th, the National Museum in Szczecin at Wały Chrobrego will host an exhibition of photographs by renowned German artist Götz Lemberg, entitled "Either Oder". On the opening day, the Museum and the Sailing Centre invite all sailing and boating enthusiasts to participate in the first water manifestation of the Oder Power in the history of Szczecin.
The organizers propose a formula taken from fashionable flash mobs, that is, spontaneous presence of sailors and all kinds of water sportsmen on the Oder at the foot of Wały Chrobrego on Friday, June 10th 2022, between 5.00 P.M. and 6.00 P.M. A specific manifestation of the ODER POWER will be admired by special guests of the Museum - representatives of the authorities of the Oder regions, cities and cultural institutions from the German states of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, and the voivodeships of West Pomerania and Lubuskie.
The final of the action, at 6.00 P.M., will be the activation of the buzzers or the use of other sound signals on all vessels participating in the action and mooring in the marina and at the boulevards.
The organizers encourage the owners of sailing, motor and sail-motor yachts, boats and motor boats, kayaks and water bikes to take part in this community action (rental possible). Of course, in compliance with the safety rules and regulations for internal sea waters and for port channels. After the end of the action, all its participants will be able to see the exhibition at the Museum.
