Current Temporary and Permanent Exhibitions

Due to the launch of the new project "Common Ways to Art in Pomerania. Central Pomeranian Museums Create a New Approach to the Cultural Heritage of the Border Region", which is being implemented jointly with the Pomeranian State Museum in Greifswald (Pommersches Landesmuseum), several exhibitions at Wały Chrobrego are unavailable.

The following permanent and temporary exhibitions are currently on display.

The project "Common Ways to Art in Pomerania. Central Pomeranian Museums Create a New Approach to the Cultural Heritage of the Border Region" is financed as part of the Interreg VI A Cooperation Programme Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland 2021-2027. The new exhibitions will be devoted to themes that are fundamental to the region's identity. The Pomeranian State Museum in Greifswald will focus on the most famous painter of the Romantic era, Caspar David Friedrich. The exhibition at the National Museum in Szczecin, reflecting the status of its art collection of the 19th and first half of the 20th century, will show the cultural richness of the city as recorded in the artistic testimonies of the Enlightenment, Romanticism, Realism, Modernism and the avant-garde.
